A sample company policy for risk assessment activities  may states. We shall; • Appoint a competent person or persons to carry out risk assessments, • Carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments of our activities. • Identify and carry out those specific risk assessments where legally required. • Carry out detailed risk assessments on hazardous activities. • Implement the control measures to mitigate or reduce those risk(s) identified. • Communicate the significant findings of the risk assessments to the attention of those affected. • Amend risk assessments when changes occur, and review them regularly to ensure they are kept up to date. • Adequately train staff on the principles of risk assessment, in particular the identification of hazards, and the implementation of control measures to remove or reduce the risk.
