Section 3 - The Work Desk or Work Surfaces

General Guidance - Work space should allow for the complete range of tasks performed at the workstation (eg viewing the screen, using the keyboard, writing). It should be possible for hands to be comfortable positioned so as to perform each task and for use and storage of working materials and equipment (eg document, telephones).

3.1 Is the work desk or surface large enough to accommodate all the equipment and materials?

3.2 Are the surfaces non-reflective?

3.3 Is there a document handler available?

3.4 Is there a document handler specifically required for user health or comfort?

3.5 Are wrist rests available for keyboard and mouse mat?

3.6 Are wrist rests available for keyboard and mouse mat specifically required for user health or comfort?
